Meet Dr. Sean Eschenbach
I feel privileged to have the responsibility of taking care of the overall oral health of the people in my community. My patients mean the world to me, and I want their dental experience to be nothing short of exceptional. My team joins me in this mission; their fun, lively personalities make our office an enjoyable place. I really enjoy when patients take part in the fun and laugh during their visits with us. We love to see them smile!
Education and Continuing Education
I was raised in Martinsville, am a graduate of Martinsville High School, and received my Bachelor’s degree from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and spent the following year pursuing advanced training in general dentistry techniques as a resident in the General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
With a focus on continuing my education, I have sought out the challenges of providing dental care to medically compromised persons involving organ transplants, developmental disabilities, and cancer care.

Outside the Office
I love spending time with my wife Caroline, a third-grade teacher with Roanoke City Public Schools. We are very excited to have moved back to Southwest Virginia, a place we both call home. Caroline and I are passionate about the outdoors; we both enjoy running, biking, hiking, and playing golf. I also volunteer at the Bradley Free Dental Clinic.
